About the project
CodPostal is a web app to find postal codes in Portugal. I built all of it: the React interface and the postal code REST API (cities, streets and towns), which I host on a dedicated Hetzner VPS.
What I did
Built the postal code REST API, with endpoints for cities, streets, towns and postal codes.
Deployed and configured the API on a dedicated Hetzner VPS.
React interface with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Radix UI components.
Three search modes in tabs: postal code, street and town.
Postal code input in the 0000-000 format, digit by digit, with error handling.
